This is glamping at its very best!

You can choose whether you want to stay firmly anchored under the treetops on Rackaren island's highest point, or be lulled to sleep by the waves' movements on a moored glamping raft. No matter what you choose, this is a glamping experience you simply don't want to miss!

On the island of Rackaren, which is connected to Marholmen by a bridge, we have set up five canvas tents. Four of the tents are mounted on their own rafts, and one canvas tent is on land, built on a stable plateau.

Tents on a raft
All four glamping rafts have their own swim ladders and a swing, and you have free access to your own canoe with life jackets for a truly unique nature experience.

Tent on the island
If you choose to book our canvas tent on the island, you’ll get to sleep under the tree canopy with a barbecue area right outside the tent, your own swimming dock just below, and you can enjoy a fantastic view and watch the sun set into the sea.

You can hardly get any closer to nature than this, yet with every conceivable convenience within reach.

Facts about Marholmen Glamping:

  • Our glamping package always includes a breakfast basket that is delivered to your tent in the morning.
  • You can choose to book other meals from the island’s current menu.
  • All canvas tents are 4.6 meters in diameter and are made of sturdy canvas to protect against wind and weather.
  • Each tent features a 160-cm-wide queen-size bed, a heater for chilly nights, and everything else you need for a comfortable stay.
  • There is a composting toilet at the bridge abutment on the island, just a short distance from the tents.
  • Showers and restrooms are available in the service building near our campsites, about 200 meters away.
  • Our glamping accommodation is designed for two adults or one adult and an older child. Younger children are better suited to one of our other accommodation options. We do not have a minimum age requirement for our glamping, but safety is always the responsibility of the guardian.
  • Tents are booked for a maximum of two people in the existing beds; therefore, it is not possible to book extra beds or additional breakfast baskets.
  • You can't bring your dog.

The 2026 glamping season runs from June 18 to August 16.
